If I were to ask you, what is the best age to be in life...? What would you say..?

Do you think back at when you were perhaps a teenager..? Those were certainly good days; you were inexperienced, unwise and with just a few dollars in your wallet, you felt beautiful, young, invincible, careless and free...

Perhaps you think of your early twenties as the best time of your life; you had a bit more freedom, living away from your parents and with more independence to do whatever you wanted, or so you thought at the time... you didn't need anyone and were really on your own. However, money was still a limiting factor to all the things you wanted to do. So was time, since you were probably working and studying full time or even multiple jobs to pay for your education, flat/apartment, food, oh.. and alcohol of course.

Or perhaps you would agree with me that the best time of your life could be right now... yes, right now! If you are reading this you are probably between your late 20's, 30's or perhaps in your 40s. Could it be that this is the very best age...? At this age, you have a little bit of everything good that life has to offer: you have the independence, the freedom to truly make of your life whatever it is that you want, you are still young and, although a few wrinkles here and there are showing up, you still have decent looks and get carded at bars. You are more responsible, sophisticated and have grown a more delicate taste for the finer things in life. You are still active and not afraid to break a hip when going for a jog or skiing down that double black diamond run. You are wiser and more experienced....not easily intimidated and with confidence of being able to take on whatever life throws at you. You also probably have more disposable income to do many of the things that you always have wanted to do; To buy the toys you want... a motorcycle, that boat, a cruise to the Caribbean or those clothes that cost way too much, without having to ask anyone or wait for Christmas.

Of course, it is easy to say, because we don't have much of a choice of living out any other age than the one we are in. But give it some thought... and I hope it might give you the extra energy, that slight push to try and savour this moment in life as much and as intensively as you can, right now, while you can...

You will be older soon and many other pleasures of life await us there, but it is unlikely that you will be able to do all the things that you can do now.

So go outside and enjoy your age...it is the best age...!
